Vernon Lodge is situated in the centre of Swanage just minutes from the beach and only 10 minutes from The Jurassic Coast. Our guests find our flexible and informal family atmosphere refreshing. The propriators, Joe and Sarah Shepherd, will do all they can to make you feel comfortable and welcome.

Swanage in the The Isle of Purbeck is a mecca for outdoors enthusiasts. The Jurrasic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, begins a few miles north of Swanage and is a fantastic location for diving, kayaking, walking, climbing and mountain biking.

These activities can be arranged if you wish. Joe and Sarah have a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Drop-offs and pick-ups to any point in the Isle of Purbeck can be arranged.
